“我从一个朋友那里听说了圣克拉拉，他的兄弟在这里。他现在大四了。他在学校的经历很不错。我来到这里，探索了所有的节目，真的很喜欢这里的英语节目。我在新冠肺炎期间去了中国，这有点有趣。但即使只是在校园里走走，我也觉得，‘这太棒了。“我有点在大学校和这所学校之间徘徊，但我真的很喜欢这里的个人方面。我妈妈帮了我很多。但这是一段经历，试着弄清楚所有应用程序的东西，试着弄清楚要达到这里需要什么。我的大多数兄弟姐妹要么转学了，要么选择了和我不同的道路。 One of my other siblings lived on campus but she left halfway through the year because of COVID, so I feel like I'll be the first to kind of fully live on campus all the way through. I brought some pictures to throw up and some nice personal things to make my room more homey, like a blanket. It was definitely a lot different trying to figure out how to get here but I'm excited. I’m an English major but I may double major in political science. It’s a lot of pressure to succeed, but it's my own self-pressure. My mom is very supportive.”
